About the Northwest Parkinsons Foundation

The Northwest Parkinson’s Foundation (NWPF) is a Washington state non-profit charity, established to make the Northwest a leading world center of movement disorders knowledge and treatment. To achieve this, the NWPF raises money to help fund the Booth Gardner Parkinson’s Care Center, which we opened in July of 2000 in a partnership with Evergreen Health Care of Kirkland, Washington. This is a unique multi-disciplinary care center, staffed by a team of movement disorder specialists. The Foundation’s goals include community outreach and awareness, establishing itself as a focus for knowledge and education in this region, and advocacy to government for increased funding for research.

Mission

Our mission is to establish optimal quality of life for the Pacific Northwest Parkinson’s Community through awareness, education, care, and advocacy.
